On Saturday we also went to a holiday fundraiser to help fund the building of a new playground in the area and guess who was there...... Santa, the kids wouldn't go near him, Clifford the Big Red Dog, weren't really phased by him ( they never really watch him on TV), but then there was ELMO !!! Jaxson was stalking him around the store, "where's Elmo, where's Elmo?", so we tracked him down and got this awesome picture

The Season's First Snow
Now it wouldn't be December or Christmas in New England without snow on the ground or in the air. This past Saturday it finally felt like December. It already feels like Christmas, as I type this I can hear Isabella singing, "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer had a very shiny nose and if you......... la la la la......" They have them all hyped up about it from school, she knows all the familiar holiday songs for her holiday workshop on Monday. I am told Santa will be there ! She was scared of him last year, we'll see what this year brings. So here are a couple of pictures of the kids playing in the snow Saturday night before bed.
Decorating the Christmas Tree
I don't think I will ever get this blog thing..... So look at the pictures from the bottom to the top for the right sequence. So the kids each got a new ornament for Christmas.... Isabella a ballerina and Jaxson a Elmo. So we decorated and decorated..... Isabella and Jaxson thought all the ornaments that go together need to go on the same branch. I should have taken a picture of one of "their" branches. And how do you like Isabella's outfit, I guess it is all about self expression, she thought the shirt and skirt matched perfectly (teapots and butterflies). To each their own I guess.

Getting Ready for Christmas
So here are a couple of pictures of the kids outside after we put up the decorations, opps after "I" put up the decorations. The kids had fun running around outside though, good to burn off some of that energy I am so jealous of. Also as you can see we have purchased "The Elf on the Shelf", he is keeping a eye on the kids for Santa this holiday season.
